Support for Strengthening Agriculture for Farmers Affected by PT PLN’s Geothermal Project in Lembata Regency

Project Description

This project is part of PT PLN’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, aimed at strengthening the agricultural sector for farmers whose land has been affected by the development of a geothermal power plant project in Lembata Regency.

Through the implementing partner, Yayasan PAPHA Indonesia, farmers receive guidance to build their capacity in adopting sustainable farming practices, diversifying agricultural commodities, and utilizing their land more productively. The program is expected to enhance the farmers’ economic resilience while fostering more sustainable agricultural management.

Activities Carried Out

• Training on sustainable agricultural practices for farmers affected by the geothermal project.
• Assistance in the implementation of more effective and environmentally friendly agricultural cultivation techniques.
• Distribution of peanut seeds and various horticultural commodities.
